Hometown tree care for the city we're named for
Diversified Tree Service is a Grand Rapids company in the literal sense — our yard sits at 6646 Paris Ave SE on the city's south side. From there we work every corner of the city: Alger Heights, Garfield Park, and Burton Heights minutes from the shop; Eastown, Midtown, and Heritage Hill up the Division corridor; the West Side and Riverside Park across the Grand.
The city's canopy is old and mixed. Heritage Hill's century oaks and sugar maples demand careful rigging over slate roofs and wrought-iron fences. The Plaster Creek corridor grows fast, brittle silver maples. And like everywhere in Kent County, emerald-ash-borer casualties still stand dead in older neighborhoods — the most common hazard call we get inside city limits.
One city-specific note: trees in the street right-of-way are managed by the city's Forestry division, while everything on your side of the sidewalk is yours. We sort out which is which as part of every free tree removal or pruning estimate — and our 24/7 storm response covers the whole city.

"Glad I waited for the right professional. Jason was very careful in his approach with my tree fallen after the storm. If not for him I would have definitely damaged my roof. Very happy with the results!"
"Awsome friendly service.. very personal and precise at that.. had a huge storm that snapped a few tress hanging over my house... he definitely saved my roof. How bad it was and how high up it was definitely show experience and dedication. Thanks for saving my roof!!!"
