What we sell
Our firewood is the hardwood our crews bring home from tree work across greater Grand Rapids — oak, maple, ash, and cherry — bucked, split, and stacked to season properly before it's sold. That local sourcing matters twice: you're burning dense West Michigan hardwood rather than mystery mixed cordage, and moving firewood only short distances is how you avoid spreading pests like the emerald ash borer.
Because supply comes from real tree jobs, stock and species mix vary through the year. Call for current stock and pricing — (616) 612-1244 — and we'll tell you exactly what's on the racks today.

What to expect from properly seasoned wood
Cost factors
Pricing follows supply, species mix, and whether you're picking up or we're delivering and stacking. Hardwood from our own removals keeps prices fair — call for today's numbers rather than trusting a stale price on a website. More detail: how to tell firewood is properly seasoned and the best hardwood species to burn in Michigan.
Firewood FAQs
Look for checked (cracked) ends, gray color, loose bark, and a hollow sound when two pieces knock together. Moisture meters don’t lie either — seasoned wood reads under 20%. Ours does.
Yes — that’s the point of buying seasoned. Store it off the ground and top-covered, sides open to the wind.
We deliver across our full service area — Kentwood, Wyoming, Byron Center, Caledonia, Cascade, and beyond. Delivery fees scale with distance.
Gladly. As part of any removal, we’ll buck the trunk to stove length and stack it on-site at no extra charge. Splitting can be quoted as an add-on.
